The Holy Quran urges the mankind to think, ponder, reflect and acquire knowledge that would bring them closer to God and his creation. The prophet Muhammad (SAW) commanded knowledge upon all Muslims, and urged us to seek knowledge as far they could reach, and also to seek it all times.

Islam provided great impetus for the human pursuit of knowledge. The first verse that descended on the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) Was Iqra, meaning “read,” opening the door to read, write, and ponder. The Holy Quran urges mankind to think, ponder, reflect and acquire knowledge that would bring them closer to God and his creation. The Quran uses repetition to embed certain key concepts in the consciousness of its listeners. Allah (God) and Rab (the Sustainer) are repeated 2,800 and 950 times, respectively, in the sacred text; Ilm (knowledge) comes third with 750 mentions.

MuftiSays.com is UK based service which provides free Islamic, social, mental and spiritual support by qualified scholars from approved UK institutes on academic understanding and research.

MuftiSays.com began on the 1st of Shawwal 1424, 25th November 2003 and launched in December 2003.

They aim to give people the chance to seek guidance to real life problems so eminent  Islamic scholars who have dedicated their lives for this purpose can attend to them in the correct manner.

Alhamdulillah since then, the site has come a long way with the efforts of many individuals. However, the Q&A was terminated due to lack of available scholars. After a few years of suspension, Maulana Qamruz Zaman of London deemed it crucial to restart this service. With over 1000 questions pending and witnessing the desperate state from some, he could not turn his back on it. The scholars decided to get sponsored and accept donations through a reputable charity and they found Wellbeing Care Foundation, a UK based registered who share our vision for knowledge and  enlightenment.

For 17 years this work was done during the spare time of Ulamaa [scholars] who dedicated themselves with passion. They hope to excel this service with sponsorships and donations that will pay for the salaries of Ulamaa to dedicate fixed meaningful hours to this service and deliver an unparalleled service for Deen [religion of Islam] to attend to the needs of the public.

With your donations, we are able to support this noble cause to enhance MuftiSays.com.
